Wesley Chapel's proximity to I-75, with interchanges at both S.R.54 and S.R.56, has led the way to the establishment of several hotels and motels. The renowned Saddlebrook Resort was built on 480 countryside acres in 1980 and has been credited with putting Wesley Chapel on the map. The resort is comprised of 800 deluxe guest rooms and suites. It has won many awards for criteria that include dining facilities, guest services, and convention accommodations. Beautifully landscaped with a rolling terrain and lagoons, the complex is home to The Spa at Saddlebrook, the Arnold Palmer Golf Academy, and the Hopman Tennis Program.
From fast food to fine cuisine, Wesley Chapel offers choices to suit many tastes in dozens of eating places. Many of the restaurants have become traditional gathering places for residents and generously participate in community events.
Wesley Chapel's first movie theater opened in September of 2008. The Cobb Grove 16 offers first run films in its traditional theaters as well as a unique dining experience in its six CineBistro theaters, where it is possible to enjoy a gourmet meal and cocktails while watching a favorite movie. There is also a full-service restaurant on the second floor. It is the first theater experience of its kind in the Tampa Bay area.
