Welcome to Wesley Chapel

Rooted in the rural landscape of East Pasco County, the community of Wesley Chapel has, in recent years, established itself as a desirable place to live and work. Over 45,000 residents contributed to its growth over the past decade and are proud to call it home.

Wesley Chapel was recently named No. 4 in the 2008 "Gadberry Eight" Boom Towns list, the result of data-gathering to determine the most notable high-growth areas in the U.S.. Taking into account many stability factors, the statistics confirm that Wesley Chapel is a community that has continued to thrive, even in a slow economic climate.

Wesley Chapel's location has helped to spur its growth. It is bordered on the south by the city of Tampa, on the east by the city of Zephyrhills, and on the west by Land O'Lakes, another unincorporated community. To the north are the smaller communities of San Antonio and St. Leo, and Dade City, the county seat. Wesley Chapel's proximity to Interstate 75 provides convenient access to other Tampa Bay communities, the Gulf beaches, and the Orlando tourist attractions.

Residents of Wesley Chapel are able to enjoy the excitement of professional sports with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (the 2002 World Champions), the Tampa Bay Lightning (the 2004 Stanley Cup Winners), and the Tampa Bay Rays (the 2008 American League Champions) playing in venues just a short drive away. Tampa's Busch Gardens, the Florida Aquarium, Lowry Park Zoo, the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center, Tampa International Airport, and the bustling Port of Tampa are all within a 45-minute ride.

At home in Wesley Chapel, residents are pleased to have access to major shopping centers, a multi-plex movie theater, and many fine dining establishments. The community is home to its own private airport--the Tampa North Flight Center--for the convenience of those traveling by private plane. Wesley Chapel schools will soon number thirteen, and the 143-acre District Park is the pride of the community for recreation. A new hospital has been approved and dirt should be turned over in 2010. All these amenities, and more, suit the suburban lifestyles of residents in our many beautiful neighborhoods, as well as those who prefer a more rural lifestyle and live on outlying acreage.

Amid the natural beauty of west-central Florida, a new and vibrant Wesley Chapel extends a cordial welcome to all.
