Inaugural Wiregrass Celebration Parade

Greg Lenners, General Manager of The Shops at Wiregrass and Honorary Chamber Board member, is running for the Man of the Year. This is a fundraiser done on behalf of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. To win, he is competing against 12 other County Representatives for this prestigious title. The person who raises the most money wins the title. As a part of his campaign, he is hosting an Inaugural Parade for Wesley Chapel down Paseo Drive in the Shops at Wiregrass. The team at the Shops at Wiregrass has asked the Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce to help bring out the local Chamber businesses to join in the parade. 

The Vision:
To get as many of the Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce businesses involved. Get local businesses to participate as Chamber members and showcase their businesses to the public by having the opportunity to carry a banner or sign, have staff walk in the parade, or have a float in the parade.

It is so easy to get involved! All you have to do is organize a marching group, decorate a float, or use a company banner or sign. Make it fun! We suggest dressing in either company uniforms or costumes, pick a theme, and hand out coupons or gift certificates, beads, candy and fun items. NO ITEMS CAN BE THROWN AS IT IS A SAFTEY ISSUE! Help the Chamber create a fun atmosphere for spectators and be part of Wesley Chapel’s inaugural parade!

All floats will be required to arrive for placement by 9am. No floats will be permitted to arrive prior to 6am. The parade itself will start at 11am on Saturday, March 12, 2011.

This is the perfect opportunity to showcase your business as a part of the Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce section of the parade. Come Join in the Fun!!!
